The Borg Scout Cube, not as fearsome of a combat vessel but a fearsome vessel none the less. Usually carrying a small crew, these vessels were sent to explore new worlds and determine if there was any life worth assimilating, if the planet was worth building bases on, or if it was to be left alone. These ships were primarily designed for exploration and speed, though they could easily defend themselves if attacked. An additional bonus was that the Scout Cube could also probe the weapons a civilization had, making it easier to adapt to their weapons and conquer.
